How to Send Bulk WhatsApp Messages Free
Without Getting Banned
Most guides tell you to use the WhatsApp Business API (expensive, needs a developer) or generic tools that get your account flagged. This guide shows you the easier, free way — using the WABoost Chrome extension.
Install WABoost FreeMost tools for sending bulk WhatsApp messages get your account flagged
Tools that send messages with no delay are detected as bots by WhatsApp's systems within minutes. The result: a temporary or permanent ban on your number.
The fix: auto-name greetings + random delays
WABoost automatically adds a personalised greeting to every message — "Hi Praveen", "Hey Ravi", "Hello Priya" — so each one looks individually typed. Combined with random 5–15 second delays between messages, WhatsApp cannot detect your campaign as bulk sending. Both features are free and on by default. This is why WABoost users have sent over 10 million messages with zero reported account bans.

Step-by-step: sending bulk messages with WABoost
Install WABoost from Chrome Web Store
It takes 30 seconds. Click "Add to Chrome" and the extension icon appears in your browser toolbar. No account creation required.
Prepare your contact list
Create a spreadsheet with phone numbers in one column (include country code, e.g. 919876543210) and any personalisation data like Name, City, or Product in other columns. Save as CSV or keep in Google Sheets.
Open WhatsApp Web and launch WABoost
Go to web.whatsapp.com and log in. Click the WABoost extension icon. Select "Import Contacts" and upload your CSV or paste your Google Sheets URL.
Write your message with personalisation
In the message box, type your message. Use column headers in curly braces as variables: "Hi {Name}, your order from {City} is ready!" Each recipient gets a personalised version.
Set your time delay (or keep the default)
WABoost defaults to a random 5–12 second delay between messages. This mimics human typing speed and is the primary reason WABoost users don't get banned. Don't set it to zero.
Start sending and monitor delivery
Click Send Campaign. You'll see a live counter of sent, skipped (not on WhatsApp), and failed messages. You can pause and resume at any time.
Track campaign responses (optional)
If your message asks contacts to reply 'YES', use WABoost's Campaign Response Tracker to filter replies from that campaign specifically — instead of searching through all WhatsApp chats manually.
How to avoid getting banned while sending bulk messages
Always use time delays
Never send more than 1 message per 5 seconds. WABoost does this automatically but if you use any other tool, configure delays manually.
Only message opted-in contacts
WhatsApp bans accounts for spam. Only send to people who have given consent or have an existing relationship with your business.
Personalise every message — WABoost does it automatically
Generic identical messages trigger WhatsApp's spam filters. WABoost auto-adds 'Hi Praveen', 'Hey Ravi' to every message for free — no {name} tags needed. Combined with random delays, each message looks individually typed.
Don't send the same message twice
Copy-pasted identical messages sent in bulk are the fastest path to a ban. Vary your wording across campaigns using templates.
